Attempted to install in 1995 RT/TT. This radiator does not fit without modifications. The air conditioning condenser must either be removed or relocated. The stock upper radiator brackets will not work unless the bolt holes are either enlarged or ovaled. The front two top corners of the upper tank hit the car's crossmember. The bump-up for the top hose-fitting hits the hood when closed. The stock fans end up nearly touching the engine and front turbo, too close in my opinion. The unit shows very nice quality and workmanship, but the fitmemt is not by any means a drop-in. I gave up on it, and am going to either try the PWR or stay stock.

Just a warning, if you’re gonna buy a Koyo it is bigger than I expected. I understand that it holds a lot of coolant but it was just too thick so it didn’t fit right in the car and I wasted my money on it. It looked nice but I couldn’t use it so just a heads up if you’re looking.

My stock radiator cracked so I bought this one to replace it and it was a good constructed radiator. Id recommend it to my friends. I only used it for daily driving though it doesn’t compare to the better quality stuff out there for hard driving.

My Koyo radiator has been good to me. I bought one for a 08 subaru impreza STI, and their website goes on about perfect fitment but it is really large so just double check if you do get one. It is ok quality for the price I guess. Next time I’ll probably do a little more research . It did bring my temperature numbers down but I still need to test it in different situations so take that with a grain of salt. I thought because it was larger it’d be good and I do think it’s ok but I’d probably hesitate before going with it again just because there’s so many brands out there and you could probably find better. Which surprises me from what ive heard but its not for every car I guess. And if you plan on returning it read all of the fine print because the warranty seems really strict. Next time im just going to look for something with a lifetime warranty that way if I have issues Its not my problem.

My koyo was definitely not easy to install. It fit, but barely. I had to bend brackets myself. I’m not exactly a car expert and I bought this on the premise that it would be easy to do this myself.  After looking online I saw some people had to fabricate brackets since the stock ones made the rad sit too high? I guess I’m lucky I didn’t have to do that cause I have never done anything like that before. I’m hoping that I never have a warranty issue since their warranty doesn’t protect you if you have to modify or alter the product at all. I fail to see how it is my problem that they designed their product wrong…but oh well. If I ever have issues with this one I will probably just buy from a different company.

If you are like me and enjoy good customer service… don’t buy from KOYO! First of all… look at their contact page. You can only e-mail them about their racing line… no phone number? They claim to have simple bolt in fitment but I do not consider having to completely alter my airbox, trim my fan assembly, and get new holes in my brackets drilled “direct bolt in,” do you??? Yeah I know that some car guys are OK with the idea of modding or fabricating things every now and then but that is not the kind of car guy I am. It was a good looking radiator and it cooled my car decently… but the lack of customer service and the fact that I had to mod things myself were a big turn off, so when I sold my RX7 and needed a rad for my new project, I did NOT return to Koyo.
